Tips to keep safe
When you’re out in the community you should be aware of the CHiPS locations where young and vulnerable people can go to access support.
• Avoid walking alone in isolated places
• Keep your valuables and phone hidden
• Plan your route in advance
CHiPS locations
If a young or vulnerable person is out and feels anxious, lost, unsafe or have been a victim of crime they could go to a CHiPS location where they can access help. Members display the CHiPS logo and can:-
• make a phone call to get assistance.
• allow you to sit in safety until the risk has passed.
• give you directions.
• call the police, medical or social care teams.

Can you find the CHiPS locations? Take a few minutes to go on a treasure hunt. You can also make a suggestion of a new CHiPS location and get a chance to win one of our monthly prizes.
